I have been graced with the opportunity to live a dream I've had for many years and open my bead store- and here I am...
We keep the store up to date with all you need for supplies and always have new selections coming in... if we don't have it- we can get it!
Now if I can find the time to run the business and continue to be an artist.. ah, but where to find the elusive thing called time?
My Artist Bio:
I was born at a very young age. I grew up with a reckless appreciation for doing things the hard way. I think the term is oppositional defiance. I've always been an artist at heart... poet by nature.... and anarchist by desire. My art moved from drawing and painting to my favorite all time- glass and metal. There just isn't anything like the play of light through a glass object, whether it's a bead, stained glass or a randomly found glass chip on a beach. I hope you share my joy in these small pleasures, treasures and treats.
What started as a hobby working with beads and then glass soon became a passion moving me to create Jumping Mouse Designs in 2001. I picked the name Jumping Mouse based on This Story. Since 2001 I've enjoyed showing and selling my work at art festivals in the Atlanta area. I still do the occasional show- you can follow them on my calendar page.
I created a wonderful hot glass work area in what was my garage, as shown below. This is where you'll come when you're ready to take a lampworking class from me!

My work has been published in the following magazines and books:
With many more (hopefully) in the Future!
